Writing down my initial culture shock as I adjusted to college life almost 3 decades ago. The experience taught me a valuable lesson I carried with me through life.
I remember this feeling clearly! One moment you're at the top of your class and the next you're the guy who's asking others for help to understand lectures. Very humbling experience.
Oo, totoo. Very humbling. Ang hirap sa una tanggapin, but the experience will teach us a lot. It's like life preparing us for the realities ahead of us. Salamat sa pagbabasa! 🙂
Universal experience po pala talaga ito. My grade conscious self and medals definitely did not help me in college. 😅 This was such a nice read po and it was comforting that I wasn't the only one who felt this way.
Yes haha…all the while feeling ko ako lang ang nakakaramdam ng ganito. Marami pala tayo. Sinulat ko lang itong experience ko kasi matagal ko syang kinimkim at dinala. Hindi ko naprocess kumbaga. Salamat sa pagbisita! Sana ay nahanap mo na rin ang magpapasaya sa iyo 🙂.
